Welight studio is a boutique photography studio specialized in Newborn, Baby and family portraits, based in Amman, Jordan. We started our journey in 2011 when newborn and custom baby photography wasn’t quite as well known as it is now, and have worked with hundreds of families since then.
Our style is simple, Natural and warm; we place strong emphasis on emotion. We love neutrals, greys, whites with splashes of colour. We aim to capture images that stand the test of time, photography is so much more than a trend!

Nadia Bata
I have been a professional baby photographer for over 11 years, I love babies and children and find so much joy in creating artistic photographs for families!
I am also married and have two amazing boys, Faris and Sanad , they have taught me so much about this journey called parenting and have given me a way to be able to relate to all mothers; no matter how different we may be, We are all going through the same struggles and joys!
I love being creative, and I have found several outlets to unleash my thoughts and ideas….Besides photography I have fallen in love with making short films, and I look forward to growing this side of the business! I also love being creative in a business sense and coming up with ways to grow and improve.
I am a certified portrait photographer (WPPI). I have taken many online courses to learn the ins and outs of photography in general and Newborn and baby photography specifically, learning fom Amazing photographers like Kelly brown. I also took photography courses locally both at University and at Darat Al Tasweer, I am always learning and challenging myself, I believe that this is how we grow both as professionals and people.
Other things I am passionate about include, minimalism, sustainable living, self development and spending time outdoors! I look forward to working with you to create beautiful images together!

Sara Khirfan
I have been a big fan of this studio since its early days, especially since my own children were the first to be photographed and their images have meant so much to me throughout the years!
Me and Nadia have been friends since our university days, we always clicked, so when she approached me about working together, it felt like a perfect idea!
I officially became part of the team in 2018 and I‘m involved in all aspects of the business, from soothing babies, to designing setups and business cards to selecting and editing the photos!
I am multi passionate; I love design, colour, art, and creativity in all its forms; I have a bachelor’s degree in interior design. I also really love babies, just being around them fills me with positive energy.
I have 3 wonderful children and most of my days are spent in the pursuit of the work-life balance.
